As a digestive, cinnamon dramatically reduces the uncomfortable feelings associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) –especially the bloating. It does this by killing bacteria and healing infections in the GI tract and enabling the gastric juices to work But if you do have stomach cramps or upsets, a cup of Cinnamon tea 2-3 times per day will dramatically reduce the pain. Or add it into your meals –
‘Basic Chia Pudding’
For every 1 cup of milk (any you like), add 3 tablespoons of chia seeds. Once u have this ratio then you can add whatever else you like – such as a sweetener like maple or rice syrup; try also vanilla extract, cocao powder or nibs, maca powder, organic peanut butter, or cinnamon. For mix-ins, try things like fresh fruit, citrus peel zested, organic dried fruit, nuts, shredded coconut, or try a sprinkling of hemp seeds. Mix well and leave in the fridge overnight, or at least 2 hrs.
