This is a heavenly smoothie to have mid afternoon, as it’s quite filling so will keep you going through to dinner without snacking on whatever you can get your hands on. Add other things like raw cacao powder, chia seeds or flax oil if you like.
11/2 cups coconut, almond, soy, rice, oat milk
1 small banana or pear
1 organic date
1 tbsp tahini, I use hulled
1 pinch cardamon, ground (or cinnamon)
Dash of vanilla extract, optional
Whizz it all up together until smooth. You can top with crushed walnuts and a little more of whichever spice you used. A sprinkling or hemp seeds on top is pretty lovely also. #TahiniWeek #janellapurcell
