The fat in the Coconut contains a large quantity of lauric acid, a medium chain triglyceride (MCT).
In our body, LauricAcid turns into a monoglyceride with ANTI-BACTERIAL properties, which can also be found in breast milk.
Lauric acid can kill harmful pathogens like bacteria, viruses and fungi.
It has been proven to kill bacteria Staphylococcus Aureus (a very dangerous pathogen) and the yeast Candida Albicans, a common source of yeast infections.
