If you have either a hypO or hypER thyroid, you don’t need to avoid goitrogenic foods entirely, but go easy if you’re HyPER. The enzymes involved in the formation of goitrogenic materials in plants can be at least partially destroyed by cooking, allowing you to enjoy these foods in moderation
