FERMENTED FOODS are high in HISTAMINES, so if you have an intolerance to histamines, then Fermented Foods are a big no no.
Btw, yes they’re great to help heal your gut AFTER any issue/imbalance has been resolved. But they really do need to be avoided if your gut is giving you any grief at all.
