Here’s one delicious way to make broccoli appealing to everyone. This is a recipe from my latest book – Janellas Super Natural Food, and I tell you – it’s good. A nut-free version is below in the Variations.

A lovely twist on an old favourite, and talk about yummy. It’s great for a picnic or Sunday lunch. If you can’t find fresh broad beans in season, using frozen broad beans is fine, but avoid those
from China as they will usually contain too many heavy metals. The New Zealand ones are nice. Pour boiling water over them, remove the loose outer skin, then refresh in cold water.
