Tahini Bombs – recipe for ‘Tahini Week’

Tahini Bombs
A great little nut-free treat.
Makes about 16

½ cup tahini, hulled
1/3 cup raw honey, rice syrup, maple syrup or raw agave
1 cup coconut, desiccated
1 cup seeds (ground linseeds, sunflower, chia, hemp, sesame seeds and roughly chopped pepitas)
1 cup organic dried fruit (apricots, dates, figs, cranberries, banana)
1 tbsp orange zest, grated
1/2 cup cacao nibs (optional)

Mix all the ingredients together until well combined. (It will form a ball if you’re using a food processor.) Using wet hands, roll the mixture into walnut size balls and toss lightly in coconut or sesame seeds, or some raw cacao powder. They’ll keep for months in the fridge, and nearly as long in the pantry. #janellapurcell #TahiniWeek
