Anti-allergic herbs

There are some really effective anti-allergic herbs that will ease springtime allergies. get the liquid or tablet from a practitioner-only brand – from your health food store or Naturopath/Herbalist. Look out for herbs like –

Albizzia and Baical Skullcap are anti-allergic herbs; Horseradish fro sinus and hay fever; Ginger as an anti-inflammatory; Echincaea (root is better here as sometimes the flowers can cause symptoms in sensitive people) is not only a wonderful immune booster but also great for any upper respiratory infection; Eyebright for watery, itchy eyes; naturally the liver needs help so think of things like Dandelion Root, Schisandra and St Mary’s Thistle. Barberry is great here as it is anti bacterial and anti-biotic, and reduces inflammation and repairs mucous membranes. Manuka (from the flowering tops of the tea tree plant) will be invaluable here as an anti-biotic and to soothe mucous membranes.
