BPA-hormone disruptor

Hormone-altering chemicals can be found in everything from drinking water to cleaning products. It’s a toxic melting pot out there, and this week I’ll show you where 12 of the worst are hiding and how to avoid them – and why. First up, BPA.

BPA – otherwise known as Bisphenol A — is used to make some kinds of plastics, and can also be found in thermal receipt paper and canned goods. Avoid receipts where you can and limit exposure from other places like plastic containers with the recycling numbers 3 or 7 on them. Look for canned/tinned food that proudly states ‘BPA-free’. #‎BPAFree‬ ‪#‎hormonedisruptors‬
