LEAKY GUT: As Hippocrates said – All disease begins in the gut, and I think we’re starting to understand just how true this might be. Food allergies, fatigue, joint pain, thyroid disease, autoimmune conditions, depression, bloating, skin issues, Endometriosis and weight gain have all been shown to be linked to LEAKY GUT.
What is it?
Your GIT is like a tube from our mouth to your anus. This tube is fussy about what it lets through, so it has tiny holes in it that allows only specific things through.
1. Poor diet – un-sprouted grains, sugar, GMO’s and conventional dairy.
2. Long Term Stress – you know who this means
3. Toxic overload from the chemicals in our food, cosmetics, soft furnishings etc etc
4. Bacterial imbalance: Candida, SIBO etc
